To ensure the packaging can fulfil its capability, it is important to pack the box correctly and compliantly as per the assembly instructions. If packed incorrectly, you risk invalidating the UN certification and the substance being compromised during transit. It is the shippers responsibility to ensure the assembly instructions are strictly followed.

How to assemble UN Plywood Box 4DV/X107/S
Assemble the box, begin by unfolding the box and ensuring all slots on the base are aligned with the corresponding locking tabs, push down the base firmly, bend each tab into locked position, tap the tab securely in place using either the tab locking tool supplied separately or a set of suitable pliers and hammer. Place the supplied liner bag inside the box and add a layer of vermiculite at the bottom, to a depth of at least 42mm before placing your inners ensuring minimum spacing as shown on assembly sheet. Completely fill all remaining space with vermiculite ensuring a minimum layer of 42mm at the top of the box. Seal bag with 75mm adhesive tape. Finish by placing the lid on top of the box and locking close, as with the base using the separately supplied tab locking tool or suitable pliers and hammer.

This 4DV box has been tested and is approved with Vermiculite only, no other cushioning should be used in this box.
