We have a range of UN packaging solutions for Class 6.2 Infectious Substances within Category A and Category B
Our Category A packaging is suitable for goods classified under UN2900 Infectious Substance affecting animal and UN2814 Infectious Substance, affecting humans, which must be packed under packing instruction 620.
Our Category B range (goods classified under UN3373 Biological Substances, Category B) includes a postal pack ideal for Royal Mail use. UN3373 must be packed under packing instruction 650 – found within IATA, ADR & IMDG dangerous goods regulations.
Our infectious substance packaging ranges from 50ml to 12 litres. For those with the need for temperature control for refrigerated or frozen temperatures, we have our Biotransporter 1, Biotransporter 2 and Biotransporter Cargo temperature controlled packaging approved for Class 6.2 substances. You can also use our thermal control packaging as outer packaging when combined with our infectious substance packaging. Additional high-performance secondary packaging and accessories are also available.
When shipping Category A and Category B infectious substances, packaging must display the relevant hazard labels for Class 6.2 – if you are unsure, please get in touch.
