Infectious Substance Temperature Control Packaging Explained
Our UN rated temperature control packaging is suitable for the transportation of Category A, Infectious Substances UN2814, UN2900, Packing Instruction P620. They are also suitable for Biological Substances, Category B UN3373, Packing Instruction P650, when combined with the appropriate secondary and primary packaging.
Our Infectious Substance Temperature Controlled packagings are qualified with dry ice but can also be used with cool packs. They are designed and constructed to permit the release of carbon dioxide gas to prevent a build-up of pressure that could rupture the packaging.
Assembly Sheets
It is important to point out that packaging must be packed and assembled in the same way as it was during the approval testing process, if packed incorrectly you will invalidate the UN certification. That’s why each of the products in our range come with assembly instructions to guide you through the packing process.
We also have a range of hazard labels available to ensure that your dangerous goods packaging remains compliant.
