4G Fibreboard Box - OUTER PACK - 4G 1

Our 4G Fibreboard Box 4G/X11/S must be used with the specific ‘approved with’ inner packaging listed below and do not exceed the maximum capacity for each inner package.   Approved for packing group I, II & III. Gross package must not exceed 11kg. This 4G box is approved for shipping both solids and liquid dangerous goods. For approved inners torque values please refer to the Torque Values sheet.

To ensure the packaging can fulfil its capability, it is important to pack the box correctly and compliantly as per the assembly instructions. If packed incorrectly, you risk invalidating the UN certification and the substance being compromised during transit. It is the shippers responsibility to ensure the assembly instructions are strictly followed.

How to assemble 4G Fibreboard Box 4G/X11/S

Assemble the box, folding in the bottom flaps first and sealing the base with 50mm adhesive tape in a “U” shape. Assemble and place the buffer partitions inside the box. Add in a base layer of vermiculite into all void spaces. Place the approved inner packaging into the 4G box. (If using 2, 3 or 4 inners add a layer pad between inners and surround each inner with vermiculite) Cover the top inner with vermiculite and ensuring all remaining void spaces are filled. Close the outer box by folding the inner flaps in first, then the outer flaps. Seal with 50mm adhesive tape in a “U” shape.
