    4G Fibreboard Box: OUTER PACK - 4G 474

    4G Fibreboard Box 4G/X2/S must be used with the specific ‘approved with’ inner packaging listed below. Approved for packing group I. This 4G box is approved for shipping both solid and liquid dangerous goods, Gross package must not exceed 2kg. For approved inners torque values please refer to the Torque Values sheet.

    To ensure the packaging can fulfil its capability, it is important to pack the box correctly and compliantly as per the assembly instructions. If packed incorrectly, you risk invalidating the UN certification and the substance being compromised during transit. It is the shippers responsibility to ensure the assembly instructions are strictly followed.

    How to assemble 4G Fibreboard Box 4G/X2/S

    The code 474 comes fully assembled; however additional taping is required. First start by sealing the base of the box with 75mm adhesive tape in a “U” shape. Place the approved inner into the cushioning bubble pouch, then place into the 4G box . Place the foam pad on top of the inner. Close the outer packaging flaps in numerical order as printed on the box. Securing flap 4 with the pre-placed double-sided tape. Seal the box with 75mm adhesive tape in a “U” shape. Your product is now correctly packaged and ready for the appropriate hazard labels to be affixed along with any other necessary consignment information.

    No. Each 4G packaging design has been tested and approved with the use of specific inner packaging. You must use the same inner packaging as used in the testing process. The approved inners for this 4G box are listed above and can also be found on the assembly instructions.
    In the case of 4G packaging, the number stated on the UN specifications mark is the number corresponding to the maximum gross mass in kilograms, at which the design type has been tested. Meaning, 2kg is the gross mass weight for this specific box.
