Biotransporter Cargo – 12L Temperature Control Packaging, Class 6.2 Infectious Substances

The Biotransporter Cargo is a temperature control outer packaging comprising of a reusable heavy duty fibreboard box with plastic carry handles containing an insulating aluminium liner.

This product is suitable for shipments via passenger or cargo aircrafts and can hold up to 12L of infectious substances.

So as not to invalidate the UN approved certification, the outer packaging must be used with the approved primary and secondary packaging listed below, sold separately.

Thermal Performance: An empty box can contain up to 25kg of Dry Ice to give up to 60 hours of protection.

For Long Haul shipments, we advise shippers to use the TC-100 Overpack (Code 524) specifically designed for long haul shipment of the Biotransporter CARGO and can give up to 150 hours of protection.
