For those who haven\u2019t yet had the chance to review the document you can read the amendments in full using the link below.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.airseadg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/DGR_64_EN_Significant_Changes-2023.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DGR_64_EN_Significant_Changes 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Notably there are a number of changes to lithium battery regulations, we have highlighted a handful below.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>3.9.2.6.1<\/strong> The requirements of the lithium battery test summary have been revised to remove the need for the test summary for button cells installed in equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Regulations around lithium batteries have been updated specifically <strong>PI 950<\/strong>, <strong>PI 951 <\/strong>and <strong>PI 952 <\/strong>have been revised.<\/li>\n<li><strong>7.1.5.5 <\/strong>The lithium battery mark has been revised to remove the requirement for a telephone number to be provided on the mark.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Significant changes and amendments in the 64th edition (2023) have been released.
